Five New Years Resolutions You Can Actually Keep

1.     Love Yourself More

This should be in everyone’s resolution no matter who you are.  People can’t love you unless you love yourself first, so that should be your number one priority.

2.     Work Hard...

At whatever you are doing.  Whether it be at the gym or the office keep slaying and remember that hard work pays off.  Nothing changes in a day, it takes time, and if you work hard you will see progress.

3.     Dream Big And Follow Through

2016 was not a good year for many, including myself.  This year I want to pursue my dreams and actually follow through.  Now that last part is the hardest.  It is quite easy to sit down and think of all the things you would love to be doing but it is actually doing them that makes the ideas your dreams.  Instead of saying ‘I want to travel the world,’ pick one or two places that you want to visit and start planning.  Once you book a flight it is kind of hard not to go.

4.     Smile More

This one may seem simple, but it goes a long way.  It is scientifically proven that when you smile, even if you are sad, it sends brain waves to make you think your happy and then you can actually feel a difference.  This resolution can also be shared, try smiling at the next person you see.  I guarantee it makes their day better.

5.     Never Give Up

This has been a promise I make to myself every single day.  Some days are harder than others but that’s what makes the good days worth it.  I want you all to never give up on your families, on your hopes and dreams, and most of all yourselves.
