26.2 Thoughts I've Had While Training For My First Marathon

1.     Give me Gatorade!!!!!

2.     Oh that’s just another bloody toenail. nbd

3.     Stairs are the devil

4.     Oh yeah I just ran 14 miles, booyah.

5.     Why do I love running again? Oh yeah it makes me feel alive!

6.     Ice cold water is like liquid gold

7.     If I just keep putting one foot in front of the other, I will get somewhere

8.     Hills are way harder when you are running, instead of driving…

9.     Just keep swimming… running

10. Give me FOOD

11. And then more food.

12. Leg day is hard

13. If I sing and run it makes time go by faster, but I get out of breath

14. Tripping on flat pavement is actually a thing when you can’t lift your feet anymore

15. It sounds pretty dope to say I’m training for a marathon

16. Alcohol is no longer fun because I know what it will do to my running

17. Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, praise sleep!

18. Running 10 plus miles before people even wake up feels really great

19. When I hear a honk it is either someone cheering me on, or telling me to move out of the middle of the street.

20. I can’t believe people do more than one of these…

21. Butttttt I kinda want to sign up for another one

22. I love Boston

23. Why does Boston have so many hills?

24. Running in the snow is not fun

25. Running in the rain is actually pretty nice

26. I did not know I could chafe there until now

0.2. Remembering why I want to run a marathon: it is something I can accomplish on my own, no one can tell me no
